LAMPASAS, TX – One man went to the hospital Wednesday after a two-vehicle collision involving a truck tractor in Lampasas, reports Fox 44.
The incident happened around 4:15 a.m. in the area of 4000 Highway 183 North, which is northwest of Lampasas Municipal Airport on the northwestern outskirts of the city.
The investigation thus far indicates that a southbound 2020 Ford Transit van rear-ended a disabled truck tractor when the 28-year-old driver of the van became distracted.
Medics airlifted a 33-year-old passenger in the van to Ascension Seton in Round Rock.
Neither the truck driver nor the the driver of the van sustained injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
