AUSTIN, TX – A motorcyclist was hospitalized with critical injuries Sunday after a two-vehicle collision in northwest Austin, reports CBS Austin.
The incident happened just after midnight near the intersection of McNeil Road and Maverick Way West, which is just south of McNeil High School.
Police say that the force of the collision threw the motorcyclist from their bike and into the roadway.
Medics transported the motorcyclist on a trauma alert to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center.
It’s unclear if anyone else sustained injuries in the crash.
A full investigation is underway.
