AUSTIN, TX – Three people went to the hospital early Monday morning after a collision involving two vehicles along the interstate in central Austin, reports ATCEMS.

The incident happened at 2:16 a.m. in the area of 5600 North I-35 northbound, which is just south of US-290 and north of 51st Street and Capital Plaza.
Police say that one person became pinned in the collision and required extrication. Three ambulances reported to the scene to transport three patients, all of whom sustained non-critical injuries.
