BUDA, TX – One person went to the hospital Thursday morning during a major crash involving a cement truck in Buda, reports News4SA.

The incident happened just after 8 a.m. on the westbound side of TX-45 near Turnersville Road. This is just north of the Texas Toll Plaza.

Police say the collision involved a cement truck and a passenger vehicle, the latter of which rolled down an embankment.

Emergency teams worked to extricate an adult patient, who went to Ascension Seton Hays with critical injuries.
