AUSTIN, TX – A two-vehicle crash along the service road for Texas 130 in south Austin killed one person and injured two others on Friday.
According to KVUE, the accident occurred around 1 p.m. on the southbound side of the the TX-130 service road near the junction with US-183. This is the area just north of Mustang Ridge.
Police haven’t yet shared many details about the collision. They say that one of the vehicles overturned and that one person died at the scene of the accident. Officers have not yet released the victim’s identity.
Medics transported two others to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with serious injuries.
Authorities warned drivers of significant delays in the area while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
