AUSTIN, TX – A multi-vehicle crash along TX-123 in San Marcos killed two people late last month, reports News 4 SA.

The accident happened just before 7 a.m. on Thursday, December 28, near the intersection with Rattler Road, which is just southeast of Rattler Stadium.

The investigation thus far indicates that a northbound vehicle travelled onto the southbound side of TX-123 after it was rear-ended. The vehicle was then struck by a southbound pickup truck.

Two people from one of the vehicles died in the accident. Authorities have not yet released their identities.

The investigation is ongoing.
