AUSTIN, TX – A woman succumbed to her injuries four days after a major collision last week in southeast Austin, reports CBS Austin.
The accident happened around 11:15 p.m. Friday, February 21, on the northbound service road for I-35 South at TX-71, or East Ben White Boulevard. This is just southeast of St. Edward’s University.
Police haven’t shared many details regarding the circumstances of the crash. They say that three vehicles were involved, one of which fled the scene.
Medics transported another driver, identified as Yoana Fernandez, to an area hospital with critical injuries. She died on Tuesday, February 25th.
The third driver did not sustain injuries in the wreck.
