AUSTIN, TX – Two adults and one teenager went to the hospital Saturday after a crash involving multiple vehicles on the interstate in east-central Austin, reports KXAN.

Police say the incident happened around 11 p.m. in the 5600 block of the frontage road to North I-135, just south of Koenig Lane and East Highway 290.

Authorities have not yet released the full details of the accident but say that one person was thrown from a vehicle as it overturned.

Medics transported all three patients to Dell Seton. The teenager suffered minor injuries, while the two adults sustained serious injuries. One of the adults is in critical condition.

A full investigation is underway.
