AUSTIN, TX – Three people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash that slowed down traffic in north Austin on Monday afternoon.
According to KXAN, the wreck occurred on Dessau Road in the vicinity of East Parmer Lane sometime before 1:51 p.m.
Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the scene and found one person pinned in their vehicle who was unconscious. The person suffered injuries that were reported to be life-threatening, and was transported to a hospital in Round Rock.
Two other accident victims were hospitalized, one with potentially serious injuries and the other with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Lanes were shut down on Dessau Road following the accident and drivers were advised to expect delays through the area.
