AUSTIN, TX – One person died, and four people went to the hospital after three vehicles collided along the highway in Oak Hill on Monday afternoon, reports CBS Austin.
The incident happened around 2:30 p.m. near the intersection of US-290 and South View Road, which is just west of the Y at Oak Hill.
Police have not yet shared any details about how the accident happened, but they say one person died at the scene of the crash. STAR flight transported one patient to Dell Seton and another to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center. And two additional patients went to the hospital via ambulance. The extent of their injuries is unclear at this time.
