AUSTIN, TX – Four adults and two children went to the hospital Tuesday morning after a crash involving multiple vehicles on a highway in southeast Austin, KXAN reports.
Police say the incident happened around 10:46 a.m. on the northbound side of Old Bastrop Highway, or US-183, near Montopolis Drive.
Authorities have not yet commented on how the crash happened. They report that at least one person was entrapped after the collision.
Medics transported a total of six patients to local hospitals, which included Dell Children’s, Dell Seton, and St. David’s South Austin Medical Center. Three people, including one child, sustained potentially serious injuries in the crash.
