AUSTIN, TX – A total of seven people went to the hospital on Sunday evening after a major crash along the highway in southeast Austin, reports Fox 7 Austin.
The incident happened just before 6:30 p.m. on the northbound side of U.S. Highway 183 near Annalise Drive, which is just southwest of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
It’s still unclear how the crash happened, but police say two people went to area hospitals on trauma alerts. Five additional patients were hospitalized with non-critical injuries.
