AUSTIN, TX – Crews responded to a rush hour collision along Mopac in North Austin on Wednesday morning, reports Total Traffic Austin.

The accident occurred sometime before 7:50 a.m. on the southbound side of Mopac at Anderson Lane / Spicewood Springs Road, which is just west of the Shoal Creek area.
Police haven’t shared any updates regarding the accident except to say that it blocked the two left lanes of southbound Mopac while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene. Delays extended back as far as Howard Lane,
There’s no word yet on injuries, nor have authorities commented on the cause of the crash or the number of vehicles involved.
