AUSTIN, TX – An adult and a child were hurt Thursday morning when a vehicle struck them at a south Austin intersection, reports ATCEMS.

The accident happened sometime before 9 a.m. at the intersection of Travis Heights Bouleveard and East Live Oak Street. This is just southeast of Big Stacy Neighborhood Pool and west of I-35.
There’s no word yet regarding the cause of the accident. It’s unclear if the victims were walking in a designated crosswalk when the wreck occurred.
Medics transported the adult with serious injuries to Dell Seton. The child went to Dell Children’s with minor injuries.
