AUSTIN, TX – Officials in downtown Austin responded to a collision near Eilers Park that caused major traffic delays Friday afternoon.

According to the Austin – Travis County traffic report page, the crash happened in the 2200 block of Veterans Drive around 2:45 p.m.

Officials did not report any injuries resulting from the crash. However, the collision did cause a significant delay in afternoon traffic along this portion of Veterans Drive near the Mopac Expressway while investigators were on the scene of the crash.
