AUSTIN, TX – The Austin Police Department has released the identity of the man who died Monday in a northeast Austin collision, reports KVUE.
As previously reported, the two-vehicle crash happened around 7 a.m. at the intersection of East Parmer Lane and Samsung Boulevard, which is east of I-35 and west of TX-130.
According to investigators, 47-year-old Jarren T. Wallingsford, died at the scene of the wreck after emergency responders performed CPR.
Another person went to a nearby hospital with injuries of unknown severity.
While police have identified the victim, they’ve not yet disclosed any further details regarding the cause of the accident or the manner in which the two vehicles impacted.
