AUSTIN, TX – APD has released additional details regarding a a fatal motorcyle crash that happened earlier this month in east Austin, reports KXAN.

According to officials, 34-year-old Tyler J. Jelke, died at the scene of a single-vehicle motorcycle accident on Friday, February 16.

The incident happened around 6 a.m. on Giles Lane, just south of Blue Goose Road. This is just west of Manor.

Police still haven’t clarified what might have caused the victim to crash his motorcycle, but they have confirmed that no other vehicles were involved.

The investigation is ongoing.
