AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian who died after being struck by a car in Austin last week has been identified by police, according to KTBC.
The victim of the May 11 accident was 28-year-old Michael Elton Holt, the Austin Police Department said. An investigation determined that Holt was struck by a Nissan Rogue at about 8:42 p.m. while he was crossing the northbound service road in the 12100 block of Interstate 35.
Police said the Nissan driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with investigators, and is not expected to face any charges in the incident.
