AUSTIN, TX – Police have identified the victim of a fatal crash on the South Mopac Expressway in Austin last month.
According to a press release from the Austin Police Department, the man killed was 76-year-old Leslie Doleshal. Investigators said Doleshal was driving a Honda Civic on June 5 when he exited a private driveway and failed to yield the right of way to a Toyota Tundra on the Mopac Expressway.
The Toyota hit the Civic on the driver’s side. Doleshal was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead of his injuries on July 3. The driver of the Toyota and a passenger were also hospitalized.
