AUSTIN, TX – One person died Saturday night after a vehicle struck a pedestrian near a busy intersection in north Austin, reports KXAN.

Police say the incident happened around 11:30 p.m. in the area of Research Boulevard and Payton Gin Road, which is between Ohlen Road and Northgate Boulevard.
