AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian died Tuesday night after a vehicle struck them along a busy roadway in North Austin, reports ATCEMS.

The incident happened sometime before 8:36 p.m. near the intersection of North Lamar Boulevard and Rutland Drive, which is between West Rundberg Lane and West Longspur Boulevard.
Police have not released many details regarding the incident except to say the pedestrian died at the scene of the crash.
It is unclear at this time if the driver of the vehicle stopped to render aid.
