AUSTIN, TX – A two-vehicle crash in the North Loop area of central Austin killed one person and injured another on Tuesday, reports CBS Austin.
The accident happened before 8 a.m. at Avenue F and East Koenig Lane, which is just west of I-35 and south of Reilly School Park.
Police haven’t yet disclosed the cause of the collision, which they say involved a motorcycle and a CapMetro bus. There’s no word regarding the number of passengers on the bus at the time of the wreck.
Authorities declared one person dead at the scene. They’ve not disclosed the victim’s name to the public.
Medics transported one other person to an area hospital with non-critical injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
