AUSTIN, TX – Medics transported one person to the hospital on Monday afternoon after a vehicle struck them in east central Austin, reports DFW Scanner.

The incident happened at 1:23 p.m. on FM 969 near McBee Drive, which is just northwest of Walnut Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant.
It’s still unclear whether the vehicle involved in the crash remained at the scene. Police say that the pedestrian went to Dell Seton with critical injuries.
