AUSTIN, TX – An adult pedestrian died early Sunday morning after a car struck them on a busy roadway in North Austin, reports KVUE.

Police say the incident happened just before 12:30 a.m. near the intersection of Grand Avenue Parkway and the northbound frontage road for I-35.

It is unclear at this time if the involved vehicle remained at the scene of the accident. Additionally, authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim.
