AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian was hospitalized Wednesday night after a vehicle struck them along the interstate in northeast Austin, reports ATCEMS.

The incident happened around 8:28 p.m. on the southbound service road for I-35 near the intersection for Braker Lane.
Medics transported the pedestrian, who sustained serious injuries, to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center.
It’s not yet clear whether the driver involved in the collision stopped to render aid and to speak with authorities.
