HARKER HEIGHTS, TX – A male pedestrian from Killeen died last Wednesday when a vehicle struck him along the interstate in western Bell County.

According to KXXV 25, the incident happened around 2:15 p.m. on I-14 near Indian Trail, which is just south of HEB and northeast of Carl Levin Park.

The investigation indicates that a vehicle struck the victim as he walked along the center lane of the interstate. The pedestrian died at the scene of the accident.

Authorities identified the victim as 20-year-old Elijah Chiasson.
