AUSTIN, TX – One person sustained injuries Saturday afternoon in a collision that happened in the Rosewood area of East Austin.

According to KVUE, emergency teams responded to East 12th Street near Alexander Avenue sometime before 3 p.m. This is east of downtown Austin, near Downs Field.

Police haven’t shared any details about the wreck except to say that it involved two vehicles.

One person became entrapped in their vehicle and required extrication. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital with minor injuries.

There’s no word yet regarding the cause of the accident, but a full investigation is underway.
