AUSTIN, TX – One adult died Thursday morning in a collision on the southbound service road of Highway 183 in North Austin, reports KXAN.

The incident happened just before 8 a.m. near the intersection of Balcones Club Drive, which is just south of Anderson Mill Road.

It’s still unclear how the accident happened, but emergency officials say they extricated one person and attempted CPR. The victim died at the scene of the crash.

Officials warned of traffic delays in the area, while crews worked to clear the scene.
