AUSTIN, TX – Crews responded to a rush hour collision along the highway in South Austin on Wednesday, reports Total Traffic Austin.

The accident occurred sometime before 7:40 a.m. on the northbound side of the Capital of Texas Highway at Mopac Expressway, which is just southeast of Twin Falls on the Barton Creek Greenbelt.

Police haven’t yet reported on injuries, nor have they disclosed how many vehicles were involved in the collision.

Officials reported traffic delays as far back as Ben White Boulevard until crews were able to clear the scene approximately one hour later.
