AUSTIN, TX – Rescue crews responded to the scene of a deadly crash in northeast Austin Sunday morning. Austin-Travis County EMS tweeted that the accident happened near 7102-7242 Ed Bluestein Boulevard southbound sometime before 10:10 a.m.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Another person, an adult, was extricated from a vehicle and transported to Dell Seton Medical Center with injuries reported to be life-threatening. A child was taken to Dell Children’s Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Drivers were advised to avoid the area while police and emergency crews cleared the scene.
