GEORGETOWN, TX – A multi-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck sent three people to the hospital Wednesday in central Williamson County.
According to MYSA, the incident occurred shortly before 6:30 a.m. on the southbound side of I-35 near Southeast Inner Loop. This is just north of Inner Space Cavern in Georgetown.
Police haven’t shared any details about the wreck except to say that it involved seven vehicles total.
Two of the three victims sustained critical injuries.
Officials closed the southbound side of I-35 until just before 2 p.m. while emergency crews attended to the victims and worked to clear the scene.
