AUSTIN, TX – An afternoon crash blocked traffic Tuesday along US-290 while emergency crews worked at the scene, reports Total Traffic Austin.

The accident happened sometime before 3 p.m. at the intersection of westbound 290 and US-183, or Ed Bluestein Boulevard. This is on the east side of Austin, just east of Coronado Hills.
Police haven’t yet determined the cause of the crash, nor is it clear how many vehicles were involved and if there were injuries.
The incident blocked the left lane of US-290 westbound until around 3:15 p.m., when officials reported the scene clear.
