AUSTIN, TX – Police are investigating a Wednesday evening accident that occurred along the I-35 frontage road near campus.
According to Total Traffic Austin, the accident happened sometime before 7:30 p.m. on the southbound side of the frontage road near East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. This is at the southeast corner of UT-Austin, just north of the Medical District.
There’s no word yet on the circumstances of the accident or the number of vehicles involved, nor have police mentioned injuries.
The crash blocked the right turn lane while crews worked to clear the scene. All lanes re-opened by around 8 p.m.
