AUSTIN, TX — Multiple crews responded to a crash Wednesday morning that caused a car to catch fire in Austin’s Great Hills area, according to CBS Austin.
Austin Fire Department said the incident occurred in the 12018-12061 block of Jollyville Road, near Oak Knoll Drive, at approximately 8:06 a.m.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the crash or whether there were any serious injuries.
Authorities shut down all westbound lanes of Jollyville Road in the area as crews worked to extinguish the flames.
According to the Austin Transportation Department, the scene was cleared by 8:49 a.m.
