AUSTIN, TX – One person went to the hospital Tuesday following a two-vehicle crash at a major south Austin intersection, reports ATCEMS.

The incident happened at 7:29 p.m. at the intersection of Barton Skyway and South Lamar Boulevard, which is just north of the Corners II Shopping Center.
Police haven’t yet disclosed the cause of the accident. They say one person became pinned in their vehicle and required extrication.
Medics resuscitated the victim while en route to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center.
Officials asked drivers to avoid this intersection while emergency teams responded to the scene.
