AUSTIN, TX – One person was hospitalized after an east Austin biking accident late Sunday afternoon.

According to the Austin-Travis County Twitter page, the cyclist fell off of a bridge near Walnut Creek within the 2900 Block of Delwau Lane at about 3:12 p.m.

The biker was treated for non-life-threatening injures. Information regarding what may have caused them to fall off of the bridge has yet to be released. We will provide any further details as they are made public by East Austin officials.
