AUSTIN, TX — A man died Sunday evening after crashing his vehicle into a tree in east Austin, according to KXAN.
Austin police and Austin-Travis County EMS crews responded to the scene at 1102 Tillery Street, east of North Pleasant Valley Road, shortly before 4:45 p.m.
Despite life-saving measures by medics, the man died from his injuries, confirmed ATCEMS.
No other vehicles appear to have been involved, and no other injuries were reported.
Motorists were warned of delays in the area brought on by road closures.
No further information has been shared on a possible cause of the accident.
