AUSTIN, TX – Austin police said one man was killed and another was arrested on a DWI charge following a crash early Sunday, according to KXAN.
Three vehicles were involved in the wreck on northbound Interstate 35 near Braker Lane at about 2 a.m. Investigators said 57-year-old Darian Jobe was driving a Chevrolet Spark when he crashed into a GMC truck that was disabled in the road. A Toyota Camry then collided with Jobe’s vehicle.
Jobe died of his injuries at the scene. Police said the truck driver, 23-year-old Brendan Brown, was arrested and jailed on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. The driver of the Camry was not expected to face any charges.
