FLORENCE, TX – Authorities are still investigating a hit-and-run crash that killed at least one person early Friday morning in Florence, reports KXAN.

Police have not shared many details regarding the crash, but say it happened around 2:20 a.m. on TX-195 near County Road 240 in northwest Williamson County.

A hit-and-run driver collided with a vehicle that had broken down along the highway. Authorities later found the driver but have not indicated if any arrests have been made.

Law enforcement shared that the crash was fatal but have not said how many people died and whether any others parties sustained injuries.
