LEANDER, TX – One person went to the hospital on Monday afternoon after crashing his vehicle along the toll road in Leander, reports CBS Austin.
The incident happened at 4:49 p.m. in the area of 183A Toll and Bryson Ridge Trail, which is northeast of the Leander H-E-B plus! and east of Glenn High School.
Police haven’t shared any details about how the accident occurred except to say that the driver’s vehicle overturned.
The driver sustained non-critical injuries, for which he was taken to a local hospital.
Leander Police charged the driver with Driving While Intoxicated.
Officials closed all but one of the northbound lanes of 183A Toll in the area of the crash while crews worked to investigate and clear the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
