AUSTIN, TX — One person was killed early Sunday morning after a single-vehicle collision on North Mopac Service Road in north Austin, reports KXAN.
The accident happened on the 8800 block of the service road, near Steck Avenue at approximately 2:54 a.m.
Authorities say a white BMW was going south on the road when it slammed into a curb and caught fire.
The driver died from their injuries at the scene, confirmed Austin Police Department.
