AUSTIN, TX – One person was killed in a fiery single-vehicle crash in southeast Austin on Saturday morning.
According to a report by CBS Austin, the vehicle slammed into a tree on US-183 just north of TX-45 shortly before 6 a.m. The vehicle then caught fire, trapping one person inside.

The unidentified victim was extricated and transported to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.
It is unclear what led up to the deadly crash at this time.
