PFLUGERVILLE, TX – Authorities are trying to track down a driver who left the scene after hitting and killing a pedestrian in Pflugerville last week.

According to KVUE, the victim was hit by an unidentified vehicle as she was walking near the 14300 block of Dessau Road on Friday morning at about 3:20 a.m. The pedestrian died at the scene, and was identified as 20-year-old Alyssa Gonzalez of Pflugerville.

The Texas Department of Public Safety said the driver did not stop to render aid. Investigators are now asking for help from the public in finding the vehicle involved and the driver.

Anyone with information regarding the incident was asked to contact DPS.
