AUSTIN, TX – Two people were seriously hurt Thursday evening in a single-vehicle crash in central Austin, reports ATCEMS.

The accident happened at 6:13 p.m. in the area of 7635 Guadalupe Street, which is just east of North Lamar Boulevard and south of US-183.
Police say that for unknown reasons, a vehicle carrying two people left the roadway and crashed into a tree. At least one of the occupants was thrown from the vehicle.
Medics transported both victims to Dell Seton Medical Center as trauma alerts.
Drivers likely encountered delays Thursday evening in the area of the collision while crews worked to rescue the victims and clear the scene.
