LEANDER, TX – Emergency teams attempted to resuscitate a motorcyclist Wednesday night after a crash in southwest Leander.
According to CBS Austin, the incident happened at 7:04 p.m. south of Jonestown in the area of 10200 Lime Creek Road. This is near the intersection with Travista Drive.
Police haven’t mentioned any other vehicles in connection to the crash, nor is it clear what caused the accident.
Authorities say the biker died at the scene after medics attempted CPR. They’ve not yet released the name of the deceased.
Officials asked motorists to avoid this area of Lime Creek Road during rescue and clean-up efforts.
