BLANCO CO., TX – At least one person died Tuesday afternoon in a major accident in south central Blanco County, reports KXAN.

The collision occurred around 1 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 281 and FM 473, which is between Spring Branch and Blanco.

Details are limited at this time. Police have not specified the number of cars involved in the crash, nor have they disclosed the cause. Furthermore, the name of the victim has not yet been released.

Officials closed roads in the area of the crash for around two hours while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
