AUSTIN, TX – At least one person died in a single-vehicle crash along FM 969 in far east Austin early Wednesday morning, reports KXAN.
Crews responded to the accident around 3 a.m. on FM 969 between Bantom Woods Bend and Imperial Drive North. This is south of Walter E. Long Metropolitan Park and west of TX-130.
Police haven’t shared any details about the wreck except to say that it involved at least one fatality. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim.
Officials closed FM 969 while crews worked at the scene. All lanes re-opened by around 6:30 a.m.
