ROUND ROCK, TX – Officials announced road closures and delays following a fatal car accident along the interstate in Round Rock on Sunday.

According to KXAN, the incident happened on the northbound side of the I-35 frontage road near Farm to Market Road 1431, which is near Ikea and Baylor Scott and White Medical Center.

Police have not yet shared any details regarding the accident except to say that at least one person died.

Authorities closed the northbound frontage road in the area of the crash while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
