AUSTIN, TX — Crews responded to a multi-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon near the St. Edwards neighborhood in south Austin, reports CBS Austin.

The collision occurred at the intersection of Payload Pass and East Ben White Boulevard at approximately 3:33 p.m.

Austin Fire crews and Austin-Travis County EMS were on scene to extricate one occupant and treat four total victims.

Motorists were advised to avoid the area as an investigation was conducted.

No further information has been released on the cause of the crash.
