AUSTIN, TX – A city employee died on Tuesday morning after a fuel storage vehicle struck them at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, reports The Austin American Statesman.
The incident happened around 9:26 a.m. on the tarmac near the west end of the Barbara Jordan Terminal where planes are parked.
Police and EMS officials responded to the scene, ultimately declaring the employee deceased when CPR was unsuccessful. They’ve not yet released the name of the victim to the public.
